About

I am a graduate student with a primary focus in environmental archaeology. I plan to use stable isotope analysis, zooMS, and traditional faunal analysis to understand past environments and the effect they may have had on human-animal behavior. My primary research project involves isotopic zooarchaeology on sea turtles and other faunal species on the Caribbean Island of St. Croix and aims to explore paleoenvironmental reconstruction and adaptations of endangered sea turtle species. My advisors are Dr. Jelmer Eerkens and Dr. Chris Darwent.

I have previous archaeological field and laboratory experience at Paleoindian sites in the Southeast and in numerous California regions.
