Help is here when you need it. Staff and peer advisors are available to assist students individually with academic planning, course selection, career exploration, and other matters related to the major and staying on course toward graduation.
ANT Advising Appointments
Students can schedule an advising appointment with an ANT staff advisor through the OASIS appointment system.
Schedule an Appointment
All current students, regardless of declared major, are able to use OASIS to make appointments for Anthropology advising.
If you are a student who has not been active at UC Davis for more than a year and therefore don't have access to OASIS, please email socantadvisor@ucdavis.edu to schedule an appointment.
ANT Advising Drop-In Hours
Drop-ins are ideal for quick questions that can be answered in 10-15 minutes. For more in-depth questions, an appointment is recommended.
PEER ADVISOR DROP-IN HOURS
Peer advisors are a great resource for you to discuss questions such as choosing courses, determining workload for a quarter, how to use Schedule Builder, what ANT courses are like, how to get involved in research, field school, or an honors thesis, and referrals to other campus resources. Learn more about our 2024-25 Peer Advisors here!
Peer advisors are available for drop-in hours in person (directions to our office in the SS&H building here) or via Zoom during the hours below.
