Bio

I am an anthropologist and evolutionary scientist studying tool use in nonhuman primates. My dissertation research explores stone tool use among white-faced capuchin monkeys in Coiba, Panama. I use interdiscplinary approaches that synthesize methods from archaeology and primatology to answer questions about technological behavior and evolution in living primates and early hominins.
