About
Cristóbal Emilfork is pursuing a doctorate in Sociocultural Anthropology, with a designated emphasis on Science and Technology Studies and Environmental Humanities. He holds an MSt in the Study of Religions from the University of Oxford and an MA in Sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His area of research is in human-more-than-human relations and the diverse ways in which knowledge is constructed around climate change. In his doctoral project, he seeks to investigate the networks of socio-environmental linkages that are woven around the glaciers and the various components of the Cryosphere in Chilean Patagonia, particularly from the scientific knowledge that is produced from them around climate change.
