Professor Marisol de la Cadena, elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Marisol de la Cadena, Professor of Anthropology, has just been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her research covers science and technology studies, feminist philosophy and political ecology with an interest in Colombia and Peru. Last year she was awarded the Vega Medal from the Swedish Society for Anthropology and Geography. She has also received a Guggenheim Fellowship and several other distinguished honors.
