Jeffrey Kahn awarded the 2020 Isis Duarte Book Prize

For his book: Islands of Sovereignty
Jeffrey Kahn's Island of Sovereignty has been awarded the 2020 Isis Duarte Book Prize of the Latin American Studies Association Section on Haiti and the Dominican Republic, and the 2019 Haitian Studies Association Avant Garde Book Prize.
