Global Learning

UC Davis is committed to preparing the next generation of global problem solvers and change makers. As such, we want to prepare you to thrive in an interdependent world and solve global challenges collaboratively, equitably, and sustainably. We want to help students connect to the Global Learning Hub, an office on campus that wants to see students engage in global learning experiences before they graduate.

The Department of Anthropology encourages students to pursue cross-cultural experiences which contribute to developing a greater global awareness. There are a wide range of programs and experiences of interest to anthropology students, including coursework that counts toward major requirements. Students may choose among quarter, semester and yearlong programs as well as global internship opportunities.

Check out these recent videos featuring our Anthropology alumni describing their global learning experience!
