Description
This course is geared towards students interested in learning how infectious diseases affect populations and how science can help reduce their impact.
Using case studies from all around the world, it covers the basics of epidemiology while providing a historical and anthropological perspective on the long-term impact of disease on human populations and primate communities.

Evaluation
Exams will include two homework assignments, a midterm and a final exam. The assignments will be short essays on current disease outbreaks affecting humans or non-human primates.
