Help is here when you need it. Staff and peer advisors are available weekdays to assist students individually with academic planning, petition review, course selection, career pathway development and other matters related to the major and staying on course toward graduation.

Make an appointment with an advisor

 

Drop-in appointments are appropriate for:

  • major checks. You may also request a major check online.
  • exiting the program (change of major).
  • picking up forms.
  • dropping off (completed) forms (e.g., PTA forms).

Scheduled appointments should be reserved for: 

  • signed academic plans (e.g., athletic plans, financial aid plans, plans requested by the Dean's Office).
  • multiple major and/or minor petitions.
  • declaring anthropology as your major.

Peer advisors

Peer advisors are available to assist students on a drop-in basis, with no appointment needed. Peer advisors are upper-division students who are intimately familiar with the academic structure of the department's majors and have undergone training in requirements and resources to assist fellow students.
