Mercedes Villalba

Mercedes Villalba is a researcher and writer from Argentina. She studied Anthropology at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín in Buenos Aires and at The New School for Social Research in New York. Now she’s a PhD student at the University of California, Davis. She has published articles, poems and essays about art, things and the construction of nature in non academic media. Some of those publications are The Plant, Les Chroniques Purple, Compost, Correspondencia, Papersky and Eco-colo. She is also part of the art and research duo Mejunje and the research group PROTO.
