Interested in getting hands-on research experience? The Molecular Anthropology Laboratory accepts undergraduate volunteers for single or multi-quarter unpaid internships, starting in the Fall Quarter. Interns will identify genetic variation in non-human primate DNA through sequencing and fragment analysis, as well as agarose and acrylamide electrophoresis.
Third or Fourth Year standing is preferred. In addition, students should have either completed ANT 153 and BIS 101, or be taking them concurrently with the internship. Completion of either MCB 120 or 160 is optional. Credit is available.
